Travel to León
Valuable family stays with tasty traditional meals.
Dirt floors? Perhaps. Rich interactions? Absolutely!
Since its inception in 1984, Project Minnesota/León has provided meaningful travel opportunities for over 500 people.
Trips with PML prompt examination of cultural and personal values and provide an intellectual challenge to those striving for positive change in the world. Participants live, coverse, and socialize with Nicaraguans in their own homes, fostering relationships in a way that emphasizes the dignity, rich history, and talents of the Nicaraguan people.
We welcome your proposal for a travel focus, such as the arts, health services, education, the environment, sustainable community development, women's and youth issues, or a spiritual/religious emphasis. A mixed-focus travel plan is also possible.
In addition, we welcome individuals who wish to explore volunteer opportunities with us.
