- Donate money to go towards purchasing school supplies and food for the preschools (Call Jessica Smith, PML’s executive director, at 612-251-9634).
- Donate clothing and other items to be raffled off to raise mone (Call 612-251-9634).
- Host a community gathering or cultural event such as Gallo Pinto Night
- Support the Drop the Debt movement at www.jubileeusa.org
- Read Jubilee USA’s Beginners Guide to Debt
- Participate in some of the activities posted on their Monthly Grassroots Actions Calendar.
- Support the efforts of Transparency International at www.transparency.org
- Read up on the UN Convention Against Corruption
- Contact the American TI chapter to inquire about how you can put pressure on western governments to hold their oil companies accountable
